Per the local weather guessers, it hit 105 with a heat index of 115 here yesterday. What a joy to walk around in!
This hot weather has somewhat slowed down my exercising in preperation for the Maine vacation. Even with that, I have managed a few 3-4 mile walks around town in the early morning hours (when it is still hot, but survivable). The current fun walk is going up one of the hills in town that held Confederate Artillery during the battle for Fredericksburg (Civil War battle). The hill gives a nice view of parts of the town, as well as giving my legs a bit of a work out.
