Food thoughts...courtesy of my father

A couple of years ago I was in Lille for a conference, and decided to try one of the "local" restaraunts. I had no idea what Andouiliette was ordered a soup that contained it and fromage. Now cheese in soup can be good, French onion and Minestrone both benefit from the addition, but this was disgusting, bits of pig intestine with strings of something like mozzarela, in a limpid liquid that was fairly grey.

For those of you that know my father...the above is part of an email from him (even though the "I" is not him)...it shows that he has not changed (mentally).....of course it might also explain something about me........
